The Bridge is excited to bring 8 weeks of summer camp to the Greater Harrison County area. Registration for camps starts April 5th with the first summer camp starting on June 7th. All summer camps are Monday through Thursday.
Both will handle the role of sports managers, which involves handling the day-to-day planning the organization will for the sports programs offered at the facility. In other words, they will be in very high-profile positions – and I am certain it is not a problem for either.
“It’s certainly a neat thing when you look at the facilities, we’re grouped it shows we’re doing something significant,” said Joe Shuttleworth, the director of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation.
Shuttleworth has been the front man for The Bridge, the city’s indoor sports and recreation complex. The entire project has a price tag of roughly $50 million.
The name of the Bridgeport Indoor Sports and Recreation Complex was unveiled during Monday's City Council meeting.
Council will consider and act on two separate contracts that would provide interior items for the indoor facility.
“Droo Callahan was a perfect fit for this up-and-coming venue,” says Dave Pritchett, COO of SFM. “He is a respected professional in the youth and amateur sports industry and we are confident he will exceed expectations as the General Manager of The Bridge Sports Complex.
As construction continues at the Bridgeport Indoor Sports and Recreation Complex, now officially known as “The Bridge,” there are more signs that the building’s completion is much closer than some may realize.
