The Bridge Sports Complex GameChanger Event Will Include Free Tournaments & Competitions

The June 3event will feature dodgeball and cornhole tournaments, a 3-point contest, innertube water polo, and a HitTrax home run derby with youth and adult divisions.

[Bridgeport, WV] May 6, 2022 – The free kickoff event for The Bridge Sports Complex’s new distinction as the first GameChanger sports complex in West Virginia will be held Friday, June3rd. GameChanger, a drug misuse prevention organization, educates adolescents in West Virginia about drug-free lifestyles.

The event will feature a variety of contests and tournaments for all age ranges, such as:

·      Dodgeball and cornhole tournaments with youth and adult divisions

·      Innertube water polo in the competition pool

·      3-point contest in the Wesbanco Fieldhouse

·      A HitTrax home run derby will be held on the indoor turf field with youth and adult age divisions

HitTrax is a baseball simulator that provides statistical feedback and analysis on a variety of baseball skills such as pitching or hitting.

Held indoors at the Citynet Center, the GameChanger Tailgate begins at 5:00 PM and conclude with fireworks around 9:15 PM. All games, competitions, and tournaments will be free of charge. Pre-registration for tournaments will be required, and details on how to register will be available soon. Prizes willbe awarded to tournament and contest winners.
